We are excited to share that with the support and facilitation of Mr. Masum Keserci, the Station Manager of Turkish Airlines in Banjul, a delegation from Gambia International Airlines (GIA) led by the Managing Director Mr. Numo K. Sanneh, including representative from the Ministry of Transport, Works and Infrastructure (MoTWI) DPS Mariama Fofana, and a representative from Air Rep Services, recently returned from a successful visit to Turkish Airlines in Istanbul, Turkey. The team met with the renowned Turkish Airlines' Management and discussed potential collaborations in various areas to enhance customer experience at Banjul International Airport (BIA).

The areas of collaboration or partnership discussed included Ground Handling, Cargo Handling, Flight Operations, Hajj and Umrah, Capacity Building, and overall service enhancement for a better and seamless customer travel experience at Banjul International Airport. GIA hereby extends its utmost appreciation to Mr. Masum and his team for facilitating the visit.
